All I can say is swaaaakkk!!!!! That's the sound I heard about 60 or so times today when I set the hook!!! My arm can only take so much!! I need some help fighting some of these fish. They were great guys with a true passion for the water and fishing! What beautiful weather we had, not too hot and not too cold with a light breeze! To make it even better we caught over 60 Bass! GOOD TIMES!!!
January 12, 2011 The numbers are back! We are catching 40+ fish per day. The water has droped some and the canals are alive with activity! May 28, 2010 NOW IS THE TIME! THOSE 100 FISH DAYS ARE HERE! Two of our latest trips provided us with bass after bass after bass! What other place, than the Florida Everglades can you do that! March 15, 2010 The last couple of weeks have been very exciting! It started on March 7, when Linda Robinson and I won the King of the Glades tournament! We caught 5 bass weighing 19.93 lbs! We were cathing them on Venom Bully Frogs and Jigs. Because we did so well in the King of the Glades Tournament we decided to do the Renegades Tournament yesterday and guess what, we won again! This time we had 5 fish weighing 23+lbs the biggest was 7.33 lbs. We were using Venom grubs. The fish are bitting like crazzy, come down catch a few with us.
January 5, 2010 Despite the cold front the bass are still biting. I guess if you compare our cold weather to that further north, 60s during the day doesn't sound too bad. On one of our latest trips we caught about 25 to 30 bass. We had to down size and fish a little slower to keep them interested, but it turned out to be a wonderful day. Went on a fishing trip with famous marine, nature, and wildlife photographer Pat Ford the other day.
